Third sonic attack from what is probably the best punk and UK82 band that the city of Barcelona has ever produced. After their 2020 debut in 7″ format with “Desesperación” and going through their 2022 MLP “Corrupción”, LUMPEN closes this trilogy that has only just begun with their new 7″; “Exterminación”. These Colombian punx based in Barcelona release 5 new songs with an iconic UK82 sound in the vein of bands like DISORDER, CHAOS UK, THE CLAY or ULTRA-VIOLENT, but of all their recordings perhaps this one sounds darker, more agonizing and desperate… but it doesn’t lose an iota of rawness, surely very related to the origin of its members and the entire school of raw and rough Latin American sound.
